No primeiro semestre de 2020, a dupla sertaneja Zé Neto e Cristiano investiu R$ 4 milhões no 4º DVD de suas carreiras, intitulado Por Mais Beijos Ao Vivo, gravado em Belo Horizonte (MG). O que os cantores não esperavam eram os prejuízos que a pandemia traria a eles por conta da crise financeira.
Segundo os artistas, em entrevista exclusiva à coluna, uma dupla precisa investir em até seis meses de trabalho para conseguir arcar com custos de um investimento deste porte. “É um investimento alto. Ninguém fala isso, mas eu vou falar aqui. Hoje, [por exemplo] para você tocar em algumas rádios, você precisa pagar. Para lançar uma música, você paga uma bala. Internet, mais uma bala”, compartilha Zé Neto.
Em depoimento, Zé diz que conversou com outros sertanejos que passaram por momentos desafiadores como este com o inicio da pandemia e que a situação dos artistas financeiramente em relação aos investimentos é geral. “A pessoa tira o pé, por que você fala assim: ‘Cara, vou lançar um trabalho novo, esse trabalho exige um gasto alto e eu vou lançar ele e não vai ter show, que é o nosso retorno’”, completa Cristiano.
Zé conta ainda, que algumas pessoas ainda podem vir a questionar a disposição financeira dos artistas e por isso esclarece: “Cara, a gente tem [reserva financeira] para uns seis meses. Ninguém esperava uma reserva de quase dois anos, caralho. Não existe isso aí. Todo mundo precisou tirar o pé e ver o que estava acontecendo”.
