Morreu na noite desta segunda-feira (23) Seu Francisco Camargo, pai dos cantores Zezé Di Camargo e Luciano, aos 83 anos. O falecimento ocorrreu “em decorrência de uma instabilidade hemodinâmica e parada cardiorrespiratória”, de acordo com nota emitida pelo hospital. A notícia foi confimada para a Quem pela assessoria de imprensa da dupla, que mandou um comunicado oficial da família Camargo
“Foi embora um homem simples, que deixou um grande exemplo de superação com um legado de honestidade”, diz o texto. O velório será às 10h desta terça-feira (24) e o sepultamento às 17h, no Cemitério Jardins das Palmeiras, em Goiânia, Goiás, onde ele vivia. Segundo a assessoria, não será aberto ao público, para evitar aglomeração por conta da pandemia do novo coronavírus.
Luciano di Camargo, dupla de Zezé, não comparecerá ao velório. A informação foi confirmada pela assessoria de imprensa do cantor. Luciano contou que testou positivo para o novo coronavírus na última quinta-feira (19) e chegou a falar da preocupação com a saúde do pai.
Seu Francisco estava internado desde o dia 10 de novembro, após sentir dores no intestino. Ele chegou a fazer uma cirurgia de emergência no último dia 14 para estancar um sangramento no órgão. Em fevereiro, seu Francisco já tinha ficado alguns dias internado em um hospital. Na época, Zezé publicou fotos com o pai e agradeceu o apoio dos fãs.
Francisco Camargo deixa a esposa, Helena Siqueira de Camargo, de 75 anos, e oito filhos: Mirosmar José de Camargo (Zezé), Marlene José de Camargo, Wellintgton Camargo, Emanoel Camargo, Luciele de Camargo, Welson David de Camargo (Luciano), Wesley José de Camarg o e Walter José de Camargo. Outro filho do patriarca da fam ília, EmivalCamargo, que foi a primeira dupla com Zezé, morreu em 1975 em um acidente de carro.
Ele também tinha dez netos, entre eles Wanessa Camargo e Camilla Carmargo, – filhas de Zezé e Zilu Godói — além dos bisnetos, José Marcus, de 8 anos, e João Francisco, de 6, filhos de Wanessa, e Joaquim, de 1 ano e 3 meses, filho de Camilla — que está grávida novamente, de uma menina.

Nascido em Sítio Novo, no interior de Goiás, o homem que um dia presenteou os colegas de trabalho da obra, na construção civil, com fichas telefônicas, sob a condição de que eles usassem as moedas para ligar na principal rádio de Goiânia pedindo pela canção chamada “É o Amor”), despediu-se de nós, nesta segunda feira (23), aos 83 anos, com a sensação de dever mais do que cumprido.
Desde que começou a multiplicar filhos com Dona Helena, “seu Francisco” preparava com afinco a dupla sertaneja com que tanto sonhava. Primeiro fez de Emival, o segundo filho, par de Mirosmar, o primogênito, mas, quis o destino que Emival saísse de cena precocemente. Só muitos anos depois, o Seu Francisco foi ver Mirosmar alinhado com o Welson David, ambos atendendo já como Zezé Di Camargo e Luciano.
A essa altura, o amor já era algo que mexia com a nossa cabeça e o nosso coração, e fazia a gente “entender que a vida é nada sem você”. Neste momento, diante da partida do pai, os filhos todos de Francisco – Mirosmar José, Emmanoel José, Marlene, Wellington, Walter, Welson David, Werlei e Luciele entoam justamente esse verso, certos de que a vida não seria nada sem ele e a parceria da mãe, a guerreira dona Helena, que tem amparado os filhos e netos com uma força descomunal.
